Im new and need help!

hello everybody, before i begin i just wanna say that i have really found alot of great posts on here that have been helpful forme , theres definitely alot of brilliant people here!.

i am a born in jw(24 years old) ive been baptized for 7 years and was a ministerial servant for 4 years(i am no longer one).

recently me and my parents have have woken up to ttatt(about 2 months ago).

You're out mentally and she's in mentally. You're on your way out physically, she's on her way in. Do the math. She said take a break, so take one. See if she wanted a theocratic robot man or you. Don't go to another meeting. Dont talk about it at all. Let her see what life is like on the outside and if she thinks that's what she wants with you. Let it play out but dont pretend because you are fooling, not her, but yourself.

Well, if it were the WT's thinking to begin with that it was just a Rock Music Generation that Jesus was talking about he wouldn't have used the word that indicates a generation! lol These fools will do anything to make it work. Ok how many of you while a JW took the advice to pray on a problem and then open the Bible and start reading. Did you seem to get "just the right scripture" that answered your prayer? They encouraged that where I was. The Bible brings comfort, pray on a matter and read the Bible. If you fall for that is it such a leap to accept that the FDS/GOV BODY can do the same but even more effectively when they are anointed and chosen? Did you ever fall into this trap? Know of any JW's who did this? I did it for awhile, amazing what gnawing inner turmoil can find in random picking through the Word of God, lol. Now its just nuts to think I ever thought that was an anwer. Ok discuss.

No more missionaries, time for the children to step up and accept all liability. Its the best life ever for the JW.org because they wont have to pay for the shipping of the body back home or for the children that some freak molests in the foreign country as their representative. Duh.

The view that we were to accept any "Bible teaching" that might be related to our health and be ready to die for it even though that teaching could change at any time, ie: Transfusion ban to parts ok, transplants are cannibalism to they are fine, etc. I lost trust in thier Biblical expositions on that BS. And how many GB memebers had to refuse a blood transusion anyway?

Does anyone remember the excuse they used in 1979-1980

back in 79-80 they came out with another wt stating quite clearly that jesus was not the mediator for most jw's and of course this upset quite a few and some asked "if jesus is not my mediator then how does god hear my prayers?

Though they dont give Jesus his biblical storybook due, they at least stick to the tradition of praying in Jesus name. Haven't you hear these gems:

"through the name of our ransom and redeemer, Jesus Christ" or "our king and redeemer, Jesus Christ"? I have heard this said by rote so many times it became a chant for some. Ugh.

These days I prefer the good ol' "Over the teeth and through the gums, watch out stomach, here it comes!"

faders need a secret sign to use at the khall.

the thought came to me after reading replies to datadogs post on stopping singing at the meetings.. i can suggest a few secret signs for faders to use and to look for at the khall, but it would be better that current meeting attenders make suggestions here.

if readers on this site can agree to a secret sign to use at the meetings, just imagine the power that would have at your kingdom hall.
